Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant herds and impressive baobab trees, some of which can live for centuries. During the dry season, elephants cleverly extract moisture from these ancient giants to stay hydrated. The Tarangire River becomes the park’s only water source at this time, attracting vast numbers of wildlife.
