Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a protected area dedicated to the conservation of endangered species. For rhino lovers, it truly is heaven on earth, home to more than 100 black rhinos, nearly 40 southern white rhinos, and the last two remaining northern white rhinos on the planet. These iconic white rhinos can even be observed from up close!
Beyond rhinos, the conservancy shelters other endangered species such as African wild dogs, oryx, Jackson’s hartebeest and Grévy’s zebra. It also hosts a sanctuary for abused and orphaned chimpanzees, making Ol Pejeta a remarkable haven for wildlife conservation.
For the next two days, your safari adventure continues in northern Kenya. Depending on your chosen accommodation, you’ll explore either Samburu National Reserve (Elephant Bedroom Camp or Samburu Sopa Lodge) or Buffalo Springs National Reserve (Ashnil Surana Buffalo Springs).
