Lake Manyara National Park is positioned between Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, along the edge of the Great Rift Valley which plunges 400 meters deep. This compact park features a rich mix of terrains that draws a diverse range of wildlife. With Tanzania Wildlife Voyages, you can explore the soda lake that spans about 75% of the park, wander through lush rainforests filled with countless monkeys and birds, and encounter elephants roaming through the woodlands up close.

Serengeti National Park is one of the world’s most iconic safari destinations, largely thanks to the spectacular Great Migration that sweeps across its plains. Watching the massive, thundering herds is unforgettable — as is the incredible density of predators that call this region home: more than 4,000 lions, 225 cheetahs, around 1,000 leopards, 3,500 hyenas, and hundreds of wild dogs roam freely here. Alongside them lives an array of other stunning wildlife that your Tanzania Wildlife Voyages guide will eagerly help you find. Ready to experience it?

Today marks the start of your first real game drive with Tanzania Wildlife Voyages, as you explore the stunning Arusha National Park! Located close to the city, this park offers a perfect introduction to Tanzania’s incredible wildlife and scenery. Alternatively, you can unwind at your hotel and enjoy its warm hospitality, or head out for some exciting nearby activities. One great option is to visit the beautiful Mount Meru waterfalls—a short, scenic hike will take you there, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool waters beneath the falls. Savor your lunch amidst the tranquil sounds of birds and flowing streams, and keep an eye out for the striking Colobus monkey or the Silvery-cheeked Hornbill on your way back!

Depending on your departure schedule, you may choose to unwind on the beach or enjoy a little more of the island before you leave. Afterwards, head to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight back home. Not ready to say goodbye yet? Tanzania Wildlife Voyages can also help you extend your escape to another idyllic island like Mnemba, Pemba, or Mafia!
Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate about South Africa. The Kruger safari exceeded all expectations — we saw the Big Five within the first two days. The wine tasting in Franschhoek was a wonderful bonus.
A well-organized tour that covers all the highlights of South Africa. The accommodations were comfortable and the pace was just right. Victoria Falls was breathtaking. Only minor suggestion would be more free time in Cape Town. Overall, highly recommended!
This was the trip of a lifetime! The sunset cruise on the Zambezi was magical, and seeing penguins at Boulders Beach was unforgettable. Every detail was taken care of. Our guide made us feel like family.
